The cost varies on the size of the bear & the complexity of the restoration needed.

There is a minimum charge of $45 for any repair.  Even if your bear only requires one replacement glass eye, which would be $15 each if added to other restoration work, on their own would cost $45.  That applies for all work below $45 if repaired in isolation.

Courier costs home are additional and will be included in your quote.

Full payment is required within seven days from notification of completion via bank transfer.

When full payment is cleared, your bear will be carefully packaged up for his courier trip home  (courier costs are included in your quote.)

If payment is withheld for 30 days your bear becomes the property of the Teddy Bear Hospital.

Does your Teddy hold sentimental value & exhibits visible damage?  Wear such as holes in the mohair, missing eyes, torn ears, missing stuffing & paws worn through.   Even if your bear seems beyond repair, our skilled artisans can often work wonders to restore its charm & character. 

 This varies depending on the extent of damage & the complexity of the restoration.  Generally 2-4 weeks.

We require your bear to be couriered to us in Kaiapoi at your cost, the return home courier cost is included in the quote.  You can book a courier by clicking on 'Courier My Bear'.

Animal fur, sheepskin or foam chips used for stuffing (this breaks down over time & becomes toxic). These bears will be returned at the senders expense.

While we take the utmost case, the Teddy Bear Hospital is not liable for any damage that may occur during the restoration process due to the age & condition of the bear.
